Triple Chocolate Slice
// gluten free, vegan
❋ choc base
1.5 cups almond flour/meal
2 tbsp cacao powder
pinch of salt
1/4 cup honey
1ish tbsp melted coconut oil
INGREDIENTS
❋ chocolate caramel
3/4 cup almond butter
5-6 medjool dates
1 heaped tbsp cacao powder
❋ chocolate top
melted dark chocolate
OR
ceremonial cacao, tsp honey, tsp coconut oil
pit your dates & just cover with boiling water to soften, set aside to soften
combine your base ingredients well, press into a lined tin
mash your dates (& the water) with a fork until smooth, add in the remaining caramel ingredients, mix well!
layer the caramel over your base layer
meanwhile, melt your chocolate (sweeten if desired) & pour over your slice
sprinkle over some sea salt & set in the fridge until the chocolate hardens
